Over the years, Aaron has employed a number of tactics to chip away at the dominance of private automobiles on public streets. His latest is a podcast, launched a few years ago with colleagues Doug Gordon and Sarah Goodyear. Every few weeks, the War on Cars, delivers “news and commentary on the latest developments in the worldwide fight to undo a century’s worth of damage wrought by the automobile.” Lately, Aaron and his partners have broadened their interviews and conversations beyond transportation to consider the question of what streets are for.
