Seitu Jones ‘02
In early June, Seitu, along with other Black artists painted murals with messages of solidarity, anger, solace and hope over boarded-up buildings in his home town of St. Paul. He created a downloadable stencil, #bluesforgeorge, for people to apply in their neighborhoods. Stenciled images of George Floyd became part of a groundswell of street art in the Twin Cities that grew from Floyd’s death.
