Over the last six months, The New York Times visited projects designed by Deanna van Buren’s organization Designing Justice, Designing Spaces, including recently opened Restore Oakland, a social justice campus that is home to one of the nation's first spaces dedicated to restorative justice, and the Five Keys Mobile Classroom in San Francisco.
