In celebration of our 50th anniversary year, the Loeb Fellowship presents the third event in a series of online public programs designed to advance critical conversations on the social consequences of the built environment.
Featuring Kimberly Driggins LF '16, Shaney Peña-Gómez LF '18, and moderated by Tracy Metz LF '07, this Loeb50 conversation—Beyond Inclusion: The Role of the Built Environment in Advancing Equity—features three female practitioners from the worlds of media, planning & community development, and design & architecture. They will reflect on where we are as a profession and whether we are approaching diversity in a manner that will address the transformation necessary for the profession to reflect the complexity and diversity of the communities it's meant to serve. This discussion will delve into their experiences as professionals in a predominantly male profession and explore what true transformation and equity in the built environment look like.
Through the Loeb50 series, curated by founder and co-editor of Cityscapes magazine Tau Tavengwa, LF '18, the Loeb Fellowship will convene conversations about the critical issues of today, and around our shared commitment to building more just, equitable, and sustainable environments.
