With great anticipation we are setting in motion the nomination process for new members of the Loeb Fellowship Alumni Council (LFAC)
Along with work completed by the Diversity Task Force and Governance By-Laws Committee, the stage is set to move forward with the structural changes agreed to by the LFAC in October.
This year will be the first of three in which current Class Representatives move off the Council and At-Large Members are elected. This change will make the Council a more manageable size.
Building upon the contributions of the Diversity Task Force, we seek Fellowspeople who are willing to be active, imaginative, and responsible.
We seek those among our expansive network who have a sense of urgency to advance structural change while both encouraging and supporting our Fellow Fellows to join in the work of standing committees such as the Alumni Grants Committee and/or particular topic committees such as the recently formed Housing and Evictions Committee.
Every LOEB is encouraged to consider nominating themselves or others who might be willing and available to serve. In addition, our Cultivation and Nominations Committee is reaching out to discover people who would like to reactivate the Council and influence its future for the next fifty years.
if you are inclined, to nominate yourself or someone you believe would add real value to the future of the Loeb Fellowship Alumni Council's promising future.
Sincerely,
The Cultivation and Nominations Committee
Jeana Dunlap, Stephen Goldsmith, Tessa Huxley, Seitu Jones, Josephine Ramirez, Surella Segu
