MAKING GOOD WORK in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Oct. 10-13

The 2024 Fall Study Tour will begin in Pittsburgh, PA, where we will learn how community leaders are leveraging public and private investments in arts and culture, education, neighborhoods, the public realm, and transportation to foster equity and promote socioeconomic and environmental resilience. Over the following two days, we’ll travel to Johnstown, PA to delve into how the city can utilize federal and philanthropic funding to advance its emerging creative economy, support ongoing economic and environmental recovery, and realize its vision for an inclusive and sustainable future. On Sunday, there are optional visits to the scenic Laurel Highlands, where you can explore its architectural and recreational attractions.

Whether you’re able to join in person or not, you are invited to participate in the Friday Forums hosted by the Columbia University Urban Design Studio from September 13 to November 22.
